Following his outstanding performance during last weekend’s Australian 410 Sprintcar Championship on home soil – Latrobe Speedway in Tasmania – Hobart’s Shaun Dobson has announced that will be his final 2019-20 season appearance.

The Australian 410 Sprintcar Championship returns to the state of Tasmania for the first time in six years this weekend at Latrobe Speedway, and one driver who is looking to fly the flag high for his home state is Shaun Dobson.

To say that the Apple Isle’s Shaun Dobson is looking forward to returning to the mainland this Saturday night after taking a break from the driver’s seat last season would be quite the understatement, with the Hobart-based racer commencing what will be an extended campaign of blue-ribbon events across no less than four states.

Following a season on the sidelines, Hobart, Tasmania-based 410 Sprintcar racer Shaun Dobson is raring to make his comeback at the beginning of the upcoming 2019-20 season, with his break having well and truly reinvigorated him.

After many years of speedway racing, Shaun Dobson has announced that he is taking a break away from the sport.

It certainly wasn’t an easy Australian 410 Sprintcar Championship campaign for Shaun Dobson, but a hard-fought top-10 result saw him close the weekend on a positive note.

To say that Shaun Dobson battled the elements throughout last weekend’s Grand Annual Classic at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway would be quite the understatement; however, despite this, he was still able to record a top-10 result.
